NERO is a drum and bass and dubstep duo from London, UK consisting of Dan Stephens and Joe Ray. Alana Watson provides vocals on many of the duo’s songs.

 
Best known for their drum and bass and dubstep tracks, Nero’s debut release was “This Way” in 2008. They won the 2010 Beatport awards for Best Dubstep Act and Best Dubstep Track for “Act Like You Know” in 2009.

 Sasha Frere-Jones, Journalist for the New Yorker Magazine, listed Nero’s remix of The Streets, “Blinded by the Lights” in his top songs of 2009. The track had radio airplay in the UK as well as a being played by DJ’s including Chase and Status, Skream, Tiësto and Diplo. More recently Nero has remixed La Roux, deadmau5, N* E* R* D and Daft Punk.

 The duo released their first official single “Innocence” in the United Kingdom on 26 April 2010. The single was released as a double A-side with the track “Electron” as a digital download, as well as a vinyl. The track managed to reach a peak of number 168 on the UK Singles Chart besides peaking at number 16 and 11 on the dance and independent charts.

 On 6 December 2010, Nero was announced as nominees for the BBC’s Sound of 2011 poll. The nomination was followed by the addition of their second official single “Me & You” to BBC Radio 1’s A List playlist on 8 December 2010. The single was released in the UK as both a digital download and a 12″ vinyl on 2 January 2011, where it debuted at number 15 on the singles chart, also managing to reach the number-one spot on the independent-releases chart.

 NERO is currently holding the number-one spot in the UK on the Billboard Album Chart.

 Haitian made his debut in Burlington in 2006 and has since then risen quickly through the ranks and become a cornerstone in the Burlington, VT party scene. Alongside the 2K Deep Crew, he has helped mastermind some of BTV’s most successful and legendary club events and outlaws in recent history. Being asked to support countless international and national touring bands and DJs from across the electronic music spectrum has helped him nurture a deep respect for many different types of music.

 With the 2K Deep Crew, he produced many successful events at club venues and creative environments such as Bass Invaderz at Pizza Putt, the renegades at the Oddfellows Club, North Beach Unplugged, Solid Gold at Club mU, and many others.  Chris is one half owner of Nexus Artist Management and longtime DJ from Burlington Vermont. Beginning his career many years ago as a dancehall reggae DJ, you’d never know he came up learning to DJ by opening for reggae artists like Capleton, Buju Banton, Sizzla, Luciano, Shaggy, Lady Saw, Super Cat and many more Jamaican performers. These days you can usually hear him playing a blend of funky house, baile funk, electro, dubstep or moombahton.

 He’s been a driving force alongside business partner Justin Remillard in bringing many high powered electronic/dance events to Burlington Vermont over the past decade. He’s helped host and played at events with some of the world’s best artists and DJs like Uberzone, Doc Martin, Derrick Carter, LA Riots, Don Diablo, AC Slater, Justin Martin, Reid Speed, Angel Alanis, Vaski, Smash Gordon, Drop The Lime, DJ Craze, Joeski, Simply Jeff, Deep Impact, The Autobotz, Ed 209, CTRL-Z, Odi, Mephisto Odyssey and many more notable performers.

Growing up in South Dirty, Y-DNA was immersed in a stew of hip-hop, and grew a strong respect for many artists such as Weezy, Yeezy, Jeezy, and Jay-Z. After 10 years of grueling hip-hop schooling, he traveled North to the lakeside city of Burlington, VT, where he was quickly introduced to the world of electronic music. After following the white rabbit into this wonderland, the future of vibrations became clear, and he began mixing.

Influenced heavily by tones of electro, house, dubstep, and dnb, Y-DNA serves up only the highest quality selections of bass and high energy dance music. Blending these flavors together with a hip-hop twist, Y-DNA coins his minty dubhop swag.

DJ Millertime (Mark Miller) is a DJ/Producer from Burlington, VT. With a diverse musical back round, from playing guitar, to djing. He started learning to DJ from professionals like ZJ of Lazerdisk Party Sex and Producer Principal Dean. With much time and effort DJ Millertime has been able to excel, releasing his first mix on 3/16/11. DJ Millertime plans on touring, and dj/producing in the upcoming year of 2011.
